Our Security Consultants are Board Certified CPP, PCI, PSP and highly experienced

They analyze the client’s security needs and propose solutions that are relevant, effective and practical. The security consulting process begins with a clear comprehension of the client’s security requirements grounded in an updated Risk, Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (RTVA). Based on the RTVA, security consultants then recommend risk-mitigating solutions in accordance with the client’s goals, culture and budget.

Organizations use our security consulting services in order to create a solid foundation for establishing or improving security policies, practices and procedures. Our consulting services also provide objective evaluations of current security operations.

Security consulting services

Although the scope of our assignments varies widely, and new projects are always welcome, most consulting projects fall into one or more of the following categories:

  • Risk Threat and Vulnerability Assessments as stand-alone consulting projects.
  • Security Master Plans that build on RTVAs to enable organizations to strengthen vulnerabilities and provide detailed operational guidelines for coordinated physical, technological, manpower and procedural security measures.
  • Operational Audits that assess the efficacy of existing or new security measures through analysis, from an adversarial perspective, and other methods.
  • Comprehensive Reports that provide detailed analyses of selected facility or organization to allow informed decision making based on an understanding of current risks.
  • Hospitals Security Consulting that includes RTVAs, operational audits, master security plans, staffing and training.
  • Contingency and Crisis Management Planning that prepare organizations to deal with predictable – and unpredictable – security situations such as political unrest, natural disasters and other emergencies in a way that minimizes risk and maximizes employee safety and peace of mind.
  • Physical Security Survey and procurement documents preparation.

Additional Security Consultation Service (Standardization).

Standardizing security protocols and programs for a large corporation with many facilities.

Most companies have comprehensive security programs in place for their headquarters, but often overlook remote facilities. These remote facilities are sometimes develop in hurry a local programs and procedures which are not aligned with corporate one. If an organization decides that not having a comprehensive security plan for all its facilities, it may probably ends up in lawsuits and damages. RATEL team assess multiple facilities quickly and consistently and standardizing security programs. We will provide our clients a uniform standard for security policies and procedures for all facilities and consistent report. Our detailed inspections consisted of examining the facility and its operations during the day and at night and interviews of the property manager and key personnel at each location, this will allow us to prepare a comprehensive report.

All our solutions based on a comprehensive clear RTVA. Our solutions normally revolved around the four pillars of security: architectural elements, electronic elements, human element and procedures (both preventative and emergency). Our comprehensive assessment discovers patterns of gaps in the current security programs across many locations. Our security consulting team recommends possible security solutions that are relevant to the client’s situation and aligned with the company’s culture and budget..

RATEL team normally proposes the first step to be a comprehensive RTVA for all facilities. Our risk consultant visits each site several times to interview the security teams and the facility managers and review their standard and emergency procedures. He then tests those procedures using simulations to determine whether they are practical and actionable for every area in the facility. If the simulations revealed gaps, the consultant works with the security teams and property managers to revise the procedures accordingly. The second step is to create a wide-ranging training program that should be designed for the different groups of company staff. The training should cover how to react in emergencies, for example a bomb threat, and how those procedures differ. It also trains security awareness and how to assess suspicious behavior that could be a precursor to hostile attacks. Employees learn these critical skills through customized, real-life scenarios that are relevant to their respective roles. Additional training should be provided for managers. This focuses on their role in emergency management, including delegation of responsibility and establishing clear chains of command. The RTVAs and subsequent processes result in better security plans, increased employee satisfaction, better internal communication, and employees will feel more empowered and prepared.
